This page is for people with technical questions about the PageFlip effect code which I wrote back in 2002. I probably won’t be answering questions very frequently but I encourage everyone to use the Comments area to help each other out.

Thanks so much for the flip page it’s great, just got one problem I can’t make a magnifying glass work with it and the text is illegible as is.

Hey, thanks for this great flash piece.
I’ve tweaked the code a little to make the pages flip easier by changing the 2/3 ratio to 1/3 at first, then changed it to 1/90 and the page now flips by clicking on it (I suppose the vibration of the mouse is enough), which solved my issue of trying to figure out how to code it.
Now I need to understand the make it work under flash 8, I changed the linto, curvto, etc, but that didn’t work. Yet. But I will succeed!!!

i have changed the size of the book.. but, when i insert the pictures, they align centered, in x and y… i need to fit in 0, in both parts but i can’t

First, I want to say that your code for this is beyond belief, and thank you for posting it. I have been trying to make this happen for three weeks now, and just can’t get mine to work. I came across yours and it is a lifesaver. I have one question though, I want to make the pages bigger, almost to fit a whole screen, could you tell me how to do that? I usually don’t take flash projects, but this one I was begged to take… I don’t know why I agreed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How can I move the pages. I changed the size of the scene, but I can’t move the pages. The pages stay at the left of the scene. Can you help me ?
can anyone help me with the following problem?
Im trying embed the .swf into my webpage however the space is too small with the large margins. Im trying to reduce the margins to the lowest possible size but when i do this the book no longer is centered on the page and some clipping is occuring.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just Downloaded the Flip and un zipped the file, but when I go to open it nothing will open it for me. What Program do I need to Open it?
